WORSHIP 10:45 am SUNDAY SCHOOL 9:30 AM
Worship gives all glory and honor, praise and thanksgiving to the holy, triune God. We are gathered in worship to glorify the God who is present and active among us – particularly through the gifts of the Word and Sacrament. We are sent out in service to glorify the same God who is present and active in the world. Directory for Worship W-1.0101
We offer a traditional service in the sanctuary centered around the Word of God. Worship includes hymns and anthems accompanied by the pipe organ or piano; the reading and proclamation of Scripture; the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper; prayer; and opportunities to offer our time, talents, and treasure to God.
The service begins at 10:45 a.m., except during the summer, when we begin at 10:00 a.m.
We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper the first Sunday of each month. All who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are invited to partake.
THE SENIOR CHOIR
The First Presbyterian Church choir is a volunteer ensemble that provides music for the Sunday morning worship service and special services throughout the church year as well as at the annual Festival of the Nativity. They rehearse on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM and again on Sunday mornings prior to the 10:45AM worship service. New members are always welcome. The church has a history of a fine music program and the choir strives to maintain that tradition.

Ash Wednesday Service - Feb. 14
We remember that we are dust, and to dust we shall return, so we receive the sign of the cross in ashes on our foreheads. But this is not the end of the story. Jesus Christ lived, died, and was raised so that we might live, from now and into eternity. That is why we receive the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on this night. February 14, 2024
Palm / Passion Sunday - March 24
We remember how Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, proclaiming that he was king, though the crowd did not understand what kind of king he truly is. An impromptu parade sprung up around Jesus, and they put their coats and palm branches on the ground before him to prepare the way. The second half of the service turns to Jesus’ passion as we hear the account from one of the gospels, interspersed with hymns and special music. March 24, 2024 at 10:45 AM
Maundy Thursday Service - March 28
We remember the night Jesus and the disciples gathered in the Upper Room for the Passover meal. Jesus said, “Do as I have done to you” after taking a basin and washing his disciples’ feet.
