We are grateful to share the availability of endowment funds to support community organizations and initiatives. In 2012, a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Johnstown included our church in their will. We are deeply grateful for this generosity, which has allowed us to establish an Endowment Committee. This committee is dedicated to researching and recommending the allocation of funds from this gift to groups or organizations that provide essential services to our community.
Thus, an endowment was established to provide sustainable financial support to projects that align with our mission of fostering community growth, well-being, and resilience. These funds will be instrumental in advancing the work of local organizations that are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. The endowment will support a wide range of activities and projects, including but not limited to:
– Educational and training programs
– Health and wellness initiatives
– Cultural and recreational activities
– Environmental sustainability projects
– Public facility improvements
We are grateful that many organizations continue to work to improve the lives of individuals and families in our community.
We invite all eligible community organizations to apply for funding through our endowment program. Our goal is to support initiatives that reflect our community’s diverse needs and aspirations, and we look forward to seeing the innovative and impactful projects that emerge from this funding.
In the meantime, we offer our prayers for your continued efforts.
